Welcome Travellers

Welcome weary travellers, to my cosy corner of the internet. Enter softly for fear of waking sleeping dragons, witches and griffins but stay as long as you can, make a calming cup of tea and let my words wash over you.
Let me start by introducing myself, my name is Hannah and I am the author of Rise of the Riders, the first instalment of the Riders series, and the Magic series, A Little Piece of Magic, From Witches and Wolves. I am currently working on the first draft of Magic book 3 and hope to bring my other stories to life in the future.
Tooth & Claw Books was born from a long held but half-forgotten dream to be an author. Growing up I always had my head in a book and words danced on my tongue, breathing life into what I saw in my mind. Unfortunately life got in the way and dreams were pushed to the side in order to concentrate on more mundane matters and adult concerns, fantasy and musings were traded for stability and bills.
Fast forward to the day before my 30th birthday and the universe gave me the best birthday present - I was diagnosed with ADHD and given medication that helped me cut through the radio static and constant noise in my brain. Once the medications were in my system long forgotten joys came back and I felt awake for the first time since I was a child. My love and wonder for words and stories came back and I felt the calling to share my tales with the world.
I hope Tooth & Claw Books will become a place of safety and relaxation in a world where nightmares are real and take many forms. I want my tales, my little musings, to become familiar companions and reminders that no matter how dark, scary and mundane the world can be there will always be hope, light and adventure between the pages.
Books have always been important to me, re-reading old favourites feels like going home and catching up with old friends. I have turned into that author who talks about their characters as if they were real, even when I’m not actively working on tales of magic and sword fights my brain, my amazing 50 mile an hour brain, is running scenes in the background.
That was a long way of saying, “Hello and welcome, my name is Hannah and I write books,” but once I get started talking about books I can’t stop. My website, this shop and this blog have been a learning curve and a challenge but one that I have been honoured to take on. I make no promises about how often I post these little snippets or what they will even consist of but it will be a fun and interesting time.
I am still wrestling with some technical gremlins that mean I can’t fulfil physical orders YET, but for the meantime I am able to sell ebook versions of Rise of the Rider - this is on the shop and is arranged through the lovely people at BookFunnel. Rise of the Rider is also available on Kindle and paperbacks through Amazon (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0GJV5QYZZ/ref=sr_1_2?crid=344YYMZZ0XGGP&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.lZX1nzEazHkoJYqZ9rBKlWMLf1iS3Zw7ojPN-E-VOcXGjHj071QN20LucGBJIEps.16HUyKDcHfO1eKqMqdDHWAQviSUnSajTeHr0NAZ48Bc&dib_tag=se&keywords=Rise+of+the+riders+Hannah+Jennings&qid=1769595214&sprefix=rise+of+the+riders+hannah+jennings%2Caps%2C99&sr=8-2) and for those of you who have a kobo I’ve got you covered - Rise of the Riders is available on the Kobo store and also on Kobo Plus ( https://www.kobo.com/gb/en/ebook/rise-of-the-riders?sId=507c4788-ccae-4660-b413-ad1e5c2a1c1c&ssId=6UAowAnmxdnJm3NDdwXJa&cPos=1 ) I have no plans to remove the listings.
It is with a warm and welcome heart that I invite you to stay and look around. The study door is always open and I hope with each visit you find and learn something new, but I ask you one favour.
Take only memories and leave only footprints
Until next time Traveller,
Hannah
